THE BEST FISHING IN MYRTLE BEACH.

WHAT WE DO.

Captain Randy Elliott has been fishing out of Myrtle Beach, Calabash and Little River most of his life.  He worked with his father as a boy on The New Rascal before going on to own a commercial and charter fishing boats.  Captain Randy has over 40 years of experience in the fishing business.

Boat: The 40’ Gloucester custom sport fisherman is powered with twin 300 hp Volvo diesels and cruises 18-20 knots and can accommodate up to 6 passengers.   It is equipped with all the required US Coast Guard safety equipment, an inside cabin with benches, bunks (for snoozing on the way home) and a bathroom.  There is also a shaded area on the deck.

Types of Fishing: We do two types of fishing depending on the target species.

  • Bottom fishing: The most common fishing technique used to catch fish that are found near the sea floor.

  • Trolling: A method of fishing where the crew puts out one or more fishing lines, baited with lures or bait fish, are drawn through the water behind a boat.  Each paid person takes turns reeling in the fish.

Weather: If it rains, charters will run as usual; if there is excessive fog or wind the trip will not go.  Trips are always decided based on the captain’s discretion.  Trips can be rescheduled if there is availability or refunded to the customer.

Fish Cleaning: Any fish caught that the customer chooses to keep will be cleaned/filleted and bagged at the end of the trip.  The crew appreciates the tip for all the hard work on the trip.

It is the desire of the captain and crew to provide you with the best experience possible.  Come see for your self and book your charter

The boat is equipped with all US Coast Guard required safety equipment, a cabin with an inside table and bench seats, and of course bunks in case you might want to snooze on the way home.
